Enron employed about 20,000 employees and was one of the largest electricity, natural gas, communications, and pulp/paper Company in the world. The company claimed revenues that amounted to $101 million dollars by year 2000. It was in 1992 that Indian experts came to the United States to find investors for the energy industry and help in India’s power shortage.
